Well Known Summer Soups For You To Enjoy

Soup was a well known and an inexpensive meal to make. Going back to early times it was often the main meal. Placing vegetables and water in a large pot feed a family with a nourishing, cheap, and filling meal. The more wealthy families could serve soup as a first course. As time went on broths and consomme could be found in 18th century Paris. The word for these soups 'restoratifs' were later used to describe the modern 'restaurant'.
