Find Famous Restaurant Recipes In These 5 Easy Ways
Just about everybody has a certain dish that they just die for from their local restaurant. In fact, the pull is so strong that millions continue to eat out to get their to-die-for dishes. Many are happy to discover that there are legitimate ways to re-create these meals by finding their recipes. If you want to try it, use some or all of these five strategies.
1. Go to their site This is worth a shot, even though it sounds improbable. Many restaurants will give their recipes (minus the “secret sauce”) away on their web site. You’d be surprised how many recipes you can find, actually. You can’t always find the recipe you were craving per se, but at least you know you’re getting the real deal, right from the horse’s mouth.
2. Try the search engines The internet is famous for the amount of information that you can gather on all manner of subjects. This is also true regarding famous restaurant recipes. Simply type in the name of the restaurant, and include the phrase “restaurant recipes.” For instance, if you tried, “Chili’s restaurant recipes,” you’d find that there are in excess of 8,000,000 results that the engines could find. This hopefully will give you a fair shot at getting the recipe you were searching for.
3. Ask the restaurant manager or staff This may not sound like it could work, but it does – just ask the restaurant staff. You may have to get it from someone other than your server, but if you are smart about it you can turn up the information in pieces. For example, you can ask what it is that gives the entre that bite at the end, or why does the salmon taste so delectable – how do they do that? With these types of queries, you can put the pieces together.
4. Join forums This is a hidden room, as it were, on the internet. Often you can join forums for free, and you have the advantage of bumping into restaurant chefs if you find the good ones. Many people want to cook like the big restaurants at home, so commenting at forums is a great way to find a crowd of similar folks who can answer your questions or point you where you need to go.
5. Books or programs By looking online, you can find pretty easily some books or programs that will enable you to view many of these famous restaurant recipes so you can cook them yourself. You should simply be able to get recipes from Chili’s or Outback, Olive Garden or Red Lobster, to name a few. You should be able to get what you’re looking for pretty simply.
