Parents are probably the busiest people by the time the sun rises early in the morning. It is like there is no time for them to finish their chores even if they wake up before sunrise. But, you can save time by planning your every move.
Some parents would likely prepare everything the night before. Some pack lunches in the evening and reheat it in the microwave in the morning before the kids go to school. Moms usually have this kind of jobs but dads also share a few burden like piling up the books and school stuff. Parents should know that children should also take part of the chores themselves.
Parents need to learn that they need to let their children eat healthy food in the morning. Stock up on healthy foods that are easy to cook and prepare in the morning like cereals and yogurts. Not only are they very healthy for the children, they are very easy and quick to prepare and serve.
The television can also delay things in the morning. Kids will divert their attention to the TV rather than doing the stuff they need to do like preparing for school. By turning off the TV before breakfast, this allows a faster pace of work during breakfast.
Strike a deal with your kids that you can only turn on the TV if they are done brushing their teeth, have eaten their breakfast, and are prepared to go to school.
Manage everything and organize daily early morning task to help save time for yourself and for your family. Try to designate an area in the house where school items and other things children need for school are placed.
You can place all backpacks and books in the designated area for easy access. Place all other smaller things in baskets or boxes to keep things in proper order. Have another box or basket for essential items like ID cards and lunch money.
The bottom line is, parents need to take deep breaths and relax while doing everything they can to help restore peace within the house.
