Picture Thanksgiving and Christmas- what is the tying factor? Besides the fact that they are both holidays, it’s hard to picture them as complete without having some kind of meat on the dining table. The latter is richer in fat, which is undesired, especially to the weight-watchers. When it comes to the aspect of nutrition, you gain as much from both red and white meats.

There are literally thousands of meat recipes when we take into consideration all types of meat. In the natural, meat (as a group term for both white and red) can be stewed, fried, grilled, roasted, baked or barbequed. You can choose to mince it (more so if it is beef or pork) and uncover more recipes, like those surrounding meatloaf and meatballs.

For a chef in practice, understanding the different animal parts where meat is from is essential in pulling off some of the more precise recipes. Knowing the ribs, the brisket, the flank, and the tenderloin is important when the recipes require meat from said places. This applies to both red and white meat sources. It would be impossible to make fried drumsticks when you don’t know what those are in the first place.

Meat recipes continue to come up owing to how readily available the commodity is. And since there are no complexities in preparing meat, it’s just as easy for you to come up with a recipe of your own. Even when your creative genius is somewhat limited when it comes to the kitchen, a few familiar ingredients can help you create something tasty for yourself.
