Kiddie Party Ideas
Before you even decide on what kind of party games you will for your party, decide on the theme first. If your theme is futuristic, it wouldn’t make sense to do some historical games right?
Food These are kids, prepare food that they will like. This is party, they can have some “fun” food this time. Ice cream, cake, barbeque, chips, burger, and other food that you know kids go for when they are out in the mall. Serve it there and the kids will surely not have enough. You can even stylize you food. For example, you can serve them some toasted bread done in the Mickey Mouse Toaster.
There is something else that I suggest you do. As much as possible, prepare your menu ahead and send it to parents. This way, the parents will be warned if you have something in your menu that their children cannot eat either because they have allergies or parents simply don’t like their kids eating it. Inform the parents they can write you back and you will try to adjust as much as they can.
Save The Balloon Arrange the kids in a circle. Ask them to count off. One kid should be the “it”. The IT should call out a number then drop the ball immediately. If the kid does not catch the balloon, he is out. If he does catch it, he is the next IT.
Life Size Artwork Prepare a giant canvass and small ones too. Prepare some washable paint, enough paint brush or spray. You can also prepare some plastic jumpers so they don’t get the paint on their clothes when they work. Ask them to paint to their heart’s content.
There are many more ideas you can think of, I am sure. Just remember that when you are putting together the party, the guests are kids and not adults. Think about what they would love and not what you want to see.
