You can also pair it with the chapatti, an unleavened bread that is made out of wheat. This dough is flattened and cooked in a hot pan known as the tava. You can pair this with chutney, spices and soups.

The sambhar is a nutritious soup that is rich in a lot of vegetables and spices. This is one healthy soup that you can enjoy. The ingredients that you will need are mustard seeds, coriander, fenugreek and turmeric for the spices and carrots, okra, potatoes, squash and tomatoes for the vegetables. The base will be made up of the broth of pigeon peas.

You can make yourself a filling dishout of the puttu, an Indian delicacy. This has an interesting texture. It is made by kneading the rice and moistening it until it reaches the ideal consistency. You will then mold it, roll it and later steam it in to a special container called the puttu kutti. You can pair this with the stuffed parathas which is made out of potatoes, carrots, moong and paneer.

You can also make tosai, the India version of breakfast crepes. The batter is made out of rice and lentils which are grounded together and mixed in water. It is then cooked over a hot pan and served together with curry, chicken, chutney and vegetables.
